Ok, its been a while. The current project is a solder reflow oven. We’ve started the teardown of a convection toaster oven. This will be modded with a PID controller, and another set of heating elements to boot the heat up to a temperature that will work for lead free solder. This oven is nice because it is convection. This allows for a nice even heat distribution on the boards.

The PID hardware is built, along with the triac boards. Once again it is just a simple matter of programming 🙂 More to come soon.
