The dice project got out of hand, and we’ve CNC milled some acrylic for a case.

Software continues on. So far in sleep mode I can only get the power consumption as low as 310 ?A. This gives about three weeks of battery life, theoretically.  The final product is shown here.  There is an opening machined for the usb jack to enable charging without opening the case.
