The amp is proving to be a pain. After some more investigation it turned out the input switching wasn’t working, so we pulled all the cards and cleaned things up. In the picture above you can see the crap that was in the connectors. The amp now works better, but it still takes a while to turn on and stay on. The current theory is that there is some kind of thermal problem. On the next elx night we are going to hit this puppy with some liquid nitrogen, and see what breaks. ok not really, but something similar, butane might be fun.
