The last few ELX nights I’ve been working on the Eggbot.  There are tons of resources out there. This is loosely based on the the spherebot, using 0.3 laminate flooring for the frame.  The controller board is based off of a custom GRBL driver board that has been hacked for use with the hardware and software below:
